Employee portal
Shared conversations, announcements and go links
Share an Ask Duaer conversation read-only with colleagues or the whole organization, without showing them sources they may not read; admins post announcements pinned on the portal home and sent to each person’s chat tool; anyone makes go/name links, with variables and unlisted links.
Share a conversation
- On the employee portal, open History and click Share next to the conversation.
- Tick Everyone in the organization, or enter colleagues’ emails, one per line, up to 100, and save. Copy link gives you its address to send.
- They find it under Shared with me in History, or open the link. It is read only; they cannot ask on.
- Open Share again to change who has it or to stop sharing; deleting the conversation ends the sharing too.
What a shared conversation shows
- The questions and answers as they were, and the knowledge sources used. The inputs and results of the tools Duaer ran, its reasoning and attached files are not shown.
- A link in an answer or a source to a knowledge item the viewer may not read shows as not available to them, without its title or text; such sources are only counted.
- Sharing and unsharing are in the audit log.
Post an announcement
- An owner or admin of the organization opens Duaer Settings › Announcements.
- Write a title (up to 120 characters) and text (up to 2,000), and choose everyone, departments or chosen people. Departments come from member profiles.
- Choose the day to pin it until (at most 90 days ahead) and click Post and send. It is pinned on each recipient’s portal home and sent to them once through Feishu, WeCom, DingTalk, Slack, Microsoft Teams or email, as the daily digest is.
- The list shows how many it reached and how many it did not. Editing changes the portal only; it is not sent again. At most 20 announcements are active at a time.
- Employees click Dismiss to take one off their home.
Use go links
- On the employee portal, open Go links and click New go link with a name and a destination. Names have 2 to 60 letters, digits, - or _, may use / between parts, ignore case and are unique in the organization.
- The destination may hold {1}, {2}… or %s, filled with what follows the name. For example go/jira to https://jira.example/browse/{1} opens ABC-12 from go/jira/ABC-12.
- A link clicked in the Go links list opens its destination in a new tab. You can also add /go/name to the portal address, such as https://your-organization.duaer.site/go/jira/ABC-12. A name that does not exist offers to create it.
- An Unlisted link still opens but is listed only for its creator. Only the creator and the organization’s owners and admins change or delete a link.
Questions
Can a colleague see documents through my shared conversation that I may read and they may not?
Not the documents. Links and sources leading to knowledge items they may not read are hidden and only counted; the words of the answer are what you chose to share and show as they are.
What if an announcement did not reach some people?
They have no chat tool account Duaer can reach and the organization has no mail set up. The announcement is still pinned on their portal home.
Can I type go/jira in the browser’s address bar?
Not yet; open it through the portal address. Go links through the company DNS or a browser extension come in a later release.

Give employees their own Duaer employee portal
The Duaer employee portal is a separate sign-in address for each organization. Employees see the tasks and decisions workflows push to them and the metrics they follow, and can ask Duaer about them, without opening the workflow editor.
Ask DuaerDeep research: search the knowledge base and the web over several rounds for a cited report and slides
On the Documents page of the employee portal, ask Duaer to research a question. Duaer asks a few questions first, then searches the knowledge base you may read and the web over several rounds, reads the whole text, and writes a report that cites a source for each claim, saved as your document. Turn the report into slides in one click, edit them on the portal and download them as PowerPoint.
Follow-throughA daily digest of decisions due, from Duaer
To get a daily digest of decisions due, turn on the Duaer daily digest. Each member gets one message a day with what is overdue or due today, what else is open, and related documents. It goes to Feishu, else WeCom, else email.
Knowledge basePermission-aware enterprise AI search: how Duaer keeps document access intact
Permission-aware enterprise AI search filters results by what each person may open in the source system, before any answer is written. Duaer follows the source’s permissions: a document shows up only for people who can open it where it lives, and answers use only those documents.
