Search Yuque in your knowledge base with Duaer
Connect Yuque to the Duaer knowledge base. People ask about handbooks, policies and project docs; space-wide knowledge bases are found by everyone, a team's own only by its members.
What does Duaer find in Yuque?
Duaer indexes the published documents of up to 500 knowledge bases the token reads: the person's own and their teams'; a team token reads that team's only. Documents are read in full; sheets, boards and tables are found by title; drafts are not read.
People can ask “How many days of annual leave do we get?”. Duaer finds the answer in the handbook and cites it, and the citation opens the document in Yuque.
How do you connect Yuque to Duaer?
- In Yuque Settings › Tokens, create a token with read access to knowledge bases and teams, or create a team token in the team's settings.
- In Duaer, create a Yuque API credential with that token. With a Yuque space, set Yuque Address to the space's address, for example https://your-space.yuque.com; for the public Yuque, keep the default.
- As an owner or admin, open Data sources in the sidebar, select Add source and choose Yuque, then choose the credential and click Connect.
- When indexing is done, ask a question whose answer is in a Yuque document and check that the citation points to it.
Who finds which document?
- A knowledge base open to anyone or to the whole space: the whole Duaer organization.
- A team's own knowledge base, and a members-only document in an open one: the team's members, when Yuque gives their email and it belongs to a member here.
- A person's own private knowledge base: nobody else.
Yuque often gives no member emails. Members it gives none for do not find the team's own documents, and the source card counts the items this affects. To let everyone find a knowledge base, make it open to the whole space.
What are the limits?
- Only the knowledge bases the token sees: teams the person is not in are not read. To cover the space, create the token with the account that is in the most teams.
- Up to 500 knowledge bases; sheets, boards and tables are found by title only; images, attachments and comments in documents are not read.
