Save Typeform responses to a Notion database with Duaer

In Duaer, each Typeform response creates a page in a Notion database, with answers mapped to columns.

Build the form-to-database flow in Duaer

  1. Create a Notion database with columns for your questions, such as Name (title), Email, Message. Connect it to your Notion integration, or you get object_not_found.
  2. In Duaer add Typeform Trigger, connect the Typeform credential, pick the form in Form Name or ID, and keep Simplify Answers and Only Answers on. Answers are keyed by question title.
  3. Add Notion with Resource Database Page and Operation Create, and pick the database from the list.
  4. Set Title to {{ $json['What is your name?'] }} (your question title). Under Properties add one entry per column: pick it in Key Name or ID and map the answer, such as {{ $json['Email'] }}.
  5. Publish the digital organization. Typeform Trigger registers its webhook in Typeform after publishing.

When a question title changes

Simplify Answers keys answers by question title. After you edit a question in Typeform, update the key in the Duaer expression too, or that column stays empty.

Questions

Can Duaer save Typeform file uploads to Notion?

A file answer is a link. Duaer can write it to a Notion URL column; to keep the file, download it with HTTP Request and upload it to storage.

What if Duaer cannot find the Notion database?

Connect the database to your integration in Notion, then pick it again in Duaer.
