Common issues with Webhook in Duaer

Listen for several HTTP methods

1. Open the Webhook node settings and turn on Allow Multiple HTTP Methods.
2. Back in parameters, the node accepts GET and POST. Add other methods in HTTP Methods.

Each method has its own output, so you can connect a different next step to each.

Test URL versus Production URL

• Test URL: select Listen for test event. Duaer waits 2 minutes and shows the received data in the editor.
• Production URL: works from publish until you unpublish the digital organization. Runs show under executions, not live in the editor.

Send a request with curl or HTTP Request

Replace <webhook URL> with the node’s URL and use the method the node expects:

You can also call it from HTTP Request in another digital organization. With the Test URL, put the Webhook node in listening state first.

Respond with a string

1. Set Response Mode to When Last Node Finishes and Response Data to First Entry JSON.
2. Under Options, add Property Name with the field to return. The default is data.
3. End with an Edit Fields node that keeps only that field and sets the string.

For more control, set Response Mode to Using 'Respond to Webhook' Node and write the response in a Respond to Webhook node.

Addresses in IP(s) Allowlist cannot connect

When a self-hosted Duaer sits behind a reverse proxy, Duaer sees the proxy’s address. Set DUAER_PROXY_HOPS to the number of proxies so Duaer checks the real client address.

Only one webhook per path and method

Duaer does not allow two published webhooks with the same path and method, and reports “There is a conflict with one of the webhooks.” Unpublish the conflicting digital organization, or change the path or method on one of them.
