Search diseases in Duaer

Diseases in the Duaer data market searches the UniProt disease vocabulary. One successful search uses 1 credit.

Add the node from the Duaer Data category (Diseases), or copy the skill on the data market. Use the formal name with Proteins Disease.

Search on the canvas

1. Open the node creator, select Duaer Data, then Diseases.
2. Words alone is enough (a new node starts with diabetes). Disease ID, Name, and Acronym are optional; Disease ID comes from diseaseId on a result.
3. Limit defaults to 10, max 20. Select Execute step.

A successful search uses 1 credit. Items include source, title, url, summary, plus diseaseId, acronym, alternativeNames, and reviewedProteinCount. Use title as disease when searching proteins. Reuse diseaseId in Disease ID for an exact lookup. Production deliverables land in the data pool.

# Duaer diseases

Search the UniProt disease vocabulary through Duaer with a Duaer key.

## Call

`GET https://api.duaer.com/v1/data/diseases?q=diabetes&limit=10`

Header: `Authorization: Bearer <Duaer key>`

Use an account key or a model API key.

At least one search field is required. Fields combine.
Search with `q` first; use `id` or `acronym` only when you already have them from a result.

- `q` — words in the disease name or definition.
- `id` — optional. UniProt disease id from a result (`diseaseId`), such as `DI-02060`.
- `name` — optional. Disease name.
- `acronym` — optional. Disease acronym from a result, such as `T2D`.
- `limit` — optional. From 1 to 20. Default 10.

## Result

Each item has `source`, `title`, `url`, `summary`, `diseaseId`, `acronym`, `alternativeNames`, and `reviewedProteinCount`.
Use `title` as `disease` when searching proteins. Reuse `diseaseId` in `id` for an exact lookup.

## Credits

One successful search uses 1 credit.
An empty search, a failed search, a compound that matches nothing, or no remaining credits uses 0.
No remaining credits returns 402 and does not search.
A missing key returns 401.
