What you can turn off is publishing and sharing under Security & policies. ## The role only shows the block 1. Open Settings → Roles → Instance roles. 2. Open a custom instance role, or select Create instance role. 3. Expand View and Manage under Personal space. Both groups are checked and cannot be edited: Duaer Organizations, Credentials, Data tables, Agents, Folders, and Executions. Everyone has a personal space, so this block is a reminder, not the grant. Project execution permissions are under [executions](/user-management/rbac/execution-permissions.md). ## Turn part of it off under Security & policies 1. From the instance role, follow the link in the Personal space note, or open Settings → Security & policies directly. 2. Find Personal space. 3. Turn off Publishing Duaer Organizations or Sharing Duaer Organizations and credentials when you need to. Turning publishing off does not unpublish digital organizations that are already published. Turning sharing off does not remove shares that already exist. When the plan does not include personal space policies, both switches stay locked and the page tells you to upgrade. ## Questions ### Can you clear the personal-space checkboxes on a Duaer instance role? No. Those checkboxes are fixed. To limit publishing or sharing, go to Settings → Security & policies → Personal space. ### Does turning off personal-space publishing in Duaer unpublish what is already live? No. In Duaer, turning it off stops new publishes from a personal space. Digital organizations that are already published stay published.
