Post new HubSpot deals to Slack with Duaer
In Duaer, post each new HubSpot deal name, amount, and stage to Slack, either in real time with HubSpot Trigger or by checking every few minutes.
Option one: real time with HubSpot Trigger
- Create two credentials per HubSpot credentials in Duaer: HubSpot Developer API for the trigger (needs an app in a developer account) and HubSpot Service Key to read deals.
- Add HubSpot Trigger and add Deal Created under Events.
- Add the HubSpot node with Resource Deal, Operation Get, Deal ID {{ $json.dealId }}. The event carries only the ID.
- Add Slack with: New deal {{ $json.properties.dealname.value }}, amount {{ $json.properties.amount.value }}, stage {{ $json.properties.dealstage.value }}.
- Publish the digital organization.
Option two: no developer app, check every 5 minutes
- Add Schedule Trigger every 5 minutes.
- Add the HubSpot node (Service Key credential) with Resource Deal and Operation Get Recently Created/Updated.
- Add Remove Duplicates with Remove Items Processed in Previous Executions on {{ $json.dealId }} so only new deals pass.
- Add Slack with the same message.

Questions
Why does Duaer HubSpot Trigger need a developer account?
HubSpot pushes events only through developer apps, so Duaer HubSpot Trigger uses a HubSpot Developer API credential. Without an app, poll on a schedule with dedupe.
Why does the HubSpot deal in Duaer have no name?
HubSpot events carry only the deal ID. Read the deal with HubSpot Deal Get in Duaer.
