Post new GitHub issues to a Feishu group with Duaer

In Duaer, every new issue in a repository posts its title, author, and link to a Feishu group robot.

Build the issue alert in Duaer

  1. Create a GitHub credential in Duaer. The account needs admin rights on the repository so the trigger can register a webhook.
  2. Add Github Trigger with Repository Owner, Repository Name, and Events Issues.
  3. Add If: {{ $json.body.action }} is equal to opened, to keep new issues only (closing and editing also fire).
  4. Add HTTP Request: Method POST, URL the Feishu robot webhook, Send Body JSON, body {"msg_type":"text","content":{"text":{{ JSON.stringify("New issue: " + $json.body.issue.title + "\n" + $json.body.issue.user.login + "\n" + $json.body.issue.html_url) }}}}.
  5. Publish the digital organization.

Common issues

  • Feishu returns a non-zero code: refer to Fix group bot failures in Duaer.
  • Bug label only: add {{ $json.body.issue.labels.map(l => l.name).includes("bug") }} is true to If.
  • Self-hosted Duaer must be reachable from the internet for GitHub webhooks to arrive.
