# Action packs: let Ask Duaer get things done in Feishu, Jira, Salesforce and more

Owners and admins pick a system and its actions from a pack, and Duaer builds and publishes the workflows. Employees ask Ask Duaer or a chat bot to create a task, send a message, start an approval or open a ticket; low-risk actions can run without a confirmation.
## Add actions from a pack

1. Open Duaer Settings › Organization and, under Actions in the Duaer employee portal section, click Add from a pack.
2. Choose a system, then the organization’s credential for it and the project the workflows are saved in.
3. Tick the actions to add. Some need a setting, such as the approval code of a Feishu approval; the site address of Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk and Salesforce is read from the credential.
4. Click Add. Each action becomes a published workflow and is added as an action for everyone. An action already added shows Already added and cannot be added twice.

## Which actions there are

- Feishu: message a colleague or a group; create a task for yourself or a colleague; create an event and invite a colleague; start an approval.
- WeCom: message a colleague; put a schedule in your calendar, or create one and invite a colleague; start an approval.
- DingTalk: message a colleague; create a to-do for yourself or a colleague; put an event in your calendar, or create one and invite a colleague; start an approval.
- Jira: create an issue, comment, move it to a status; Jira Service Management: raise a request.
- ServiceNow: create an incident, add a comment. Zendesk: create a ticket, comment.
- Salesforce: create a lead, create a task for yourself, move an opportunity to a stage, add a note to an opportunity.
- Gmail and Outlook: send an email, save a draft.

## Who acts

- An action runs with the credential chosen when it was added: the organization’s account or shared mailbox, not the employee’s own.
- Name a colleague or a Feishu group by email or name; Duaer turns it into that system’s id when the action runs.
- Actions “for me” use the asker’s own identity in Feishu, WeCom or DingTalk. When Duaer does not know who they are there, the action is not offered to them.

## Low-risk actions and confirmation

- Actions that affect only the asker (a task or an event of their own, a draft) are marked Low risk; every other action asks first.
- When editing a low-risk action you can tick Run without confirmation; an action that writes to other people or shared data cannot be set that way.
- When confirming a low-risk action, an employee can tick Don’t ask again, and it runs directly from then on. Ask again under Actions I said not to ask about in My memory undoes it.
- Before an action runs, Duaer checks what the employee said against the action and the inputs. When they do not match, the confirmation says why, and an action that could run directly asks first.

## Several actions in one confirmation

- When one message asks for several things, Ask Duaer puts up to 5 actions in one confirmation; each can be edited or unticked, runs on its own, and is reported on its own.
- When editing an action you choose where it works: Ask Duaer, Employee assistants, or both.
- In Feishu, WeCom, DingTalk and Microsoft Teams, a low-risk action that can run directly runs from the chat and the reply says what came of it; other actions are still confirmed on the portal.
## Questions

### Can I change a workflow a pack built?

Yes. It sits in the chosen project like any other workflow and can be opened and changed. A later update to a pack does not touch workflows already added.

### What do the Feishu, WeCom and DingTalk actions need?

The company app needs the matching open-platform permissions: messages, tasks or to-dos, calendars, and approvals.

### Are actions that run directly recorded?

Yes. Every run is under the action’s Runs and in the audit log, the same as a confirmed one.
