# WeCom Base

Use the WeCom Base node in Duaer for contacts, app messages, group chats, media, and related APIs. You need a WeCom API credential.
## Use it in a digital organization

1. Create a WeCom API credential as in [WeCom credentials](/integrations/builtin/credentials/wecom.md).
2. Search for WeCom, add 企业微信(WeCom)-基础, and select the credential.
3. Pick a resource (for example app message or contacts), then an operation.
4. Fill member, department, or message fields and select Execute step.
