# Use Zhihu in Duaer

In Duaer, the Zhihu node searches, reads, and asks Zhihu Zhida with one Access Secret. It does not publish an article or an answer.
## Add Zhihu to a Duaer workflow

1. On the Duaer canvas, open the node panel, search for Zhihu, and connect it after the previous node.
2. Under Credential to connect with, pick or create a Zhihu API credential. Copy the Access Secret from the [Zhihu open platform profile](https://developer.zhihu.com/profile). Refer to [Zhihu credentials](/integrations/builtin/credentials/zhihu.md).
3. Pick an Operation. To search Zhihu, choose Search Zhihu, fill Query, and set Count from 1 to 10.
4. Select Execute step and read the output.

## Zhihu credential

One Access Secret stands for the Zhihu account that created it. Search, the hot list, Ask, and the account operations all use that secret.

Paste it into Access Secret on the Zhihu API credential. Duaer calls developer.zhihu.com with it. The secret acts only as that account.

## Zhihu operations in Duaer

- Search Zhihu: search on Zhihu. Fill Query. Count is 1 to 10, default 10.
- Search the Web: search the web through Zhihu. Fill Query. Count is 1 to 20, default 10.
- Hot List: read the Zhihu hot list. Limit is 1 to 30, default 30.
- Question Answers: list answers on one question. Set Question URL to the question address, such as https://www.zhihu.com/question/123. Offset starts at 0. Limit is 1 to 50, default 20.
- My Posts: list content the Access Secret account has already published. Kind is All, Answer, Article, Thought, Video, or Question. Offset starts at 0. Limit is 1 to 50, default 20. Drafts are omitted.
- Read My Post: read one post that account has already published. Set Content URL to that post.
- My Collections: list that account’s collections. Limit is 1 to 50, default 20.
- Ask: ask Zhihu Zhida. Fill Question. Model is Fast, Thinking, or Agent, default Fast. The answer is only in the node output. It is not posted on Zhihu.

## What the Zhihu node does not do

The Zhihu node in Duaer has no operation that publishes an article or an answer. The open platform does not offer a call that posts a draft to a column. My Posts and Read My Post only read content this Access Secret account has already published.

## Output and failures

Each input item returns one output item. json is the data Zhihu returned. When Zhihu reports a failure, the node fails with Zhihu’s message.

You can add the node to an AI Agent tool input. For a field the model should fill, select the sparkle next to it or write $fromAI('name', 'what to put here').
## Questions

### Can the Zhihu node in Duaer publish a post?

No. It has no operation that publishes an article or an answer. An Ask reply stays in the node output.

### Whose posts do the account operations read in Duaer?

Posts the Zhihu account that created the Access Secret has already published. Drafts are omitted.
