# Common issues with Airtable in Duaer

Common Airtable node errors in Duaer: Forbidden and too many requests.
## Forbidden - perhaps check your credentials? <a href="#forbidden-perhaps-check-your-credentials" id="forbidden-perhaps-check-your-credentials"></a>

Often shown while loading dropdown options. The Airtable access token lacks a scope, or the target base is not in the token’s access list. The token needs at least data.records:read, data.records:write, and schema.bases:read. Refer to [Airtable credentials](/integrations/builtin/credentials/airtable.md).

## Too many requests (429) <a href="#service-is-receiving-too-many-requests-from-you" id="service-is-receiving-too-many-requests-from-you"></a>

Airtable allows 5 requests per second per base and 50 per second per token. Over that it returns 429 and you must wait 30 seconds.

For many items, batch them with [Loop Over Items](/integrations/builtin/core-nodes/duaer-nodes-base.splitinbatches.md) and add a [Wait](/integrations/builtin/core-nodes/duaer-nodes-base.wait.md) after each batch, or turn on Retry On Fail in the node Settings with a longer Wait Between Tries (ms).
