# Yonyou NC and U9 purchase to pay and order to cash: see where each order waits

Connect Yonyou NC (NC Cloud) or U9 to Duaer. A read-only database user reads the steps of each purchase or sales order.
## What does Duaer read?

Each purchase or sales order is a case, with the supplier or customer, the organization, currency and amount.

- Yonyou NC: requisitions (po_praybill), purchase orders (po_order), purchase receipts (ic_purchasein), purchase invoices (po_invoice), payments (ap_paybill); sales orders (so_saleorder), sales issues (ic_saleout), sales invoices (so_saleinvoice), receipts (ar_gatherbill). Receipts, issues and invoices reach the order through their first source document; payments through the order number they carry. Deleted documents are left out; payments are read once approved.
- Yonyou U9: purchase orders, receipts, AP bills and payments; sales orders, shipments, AR bills and receipts, each reaching the order through its source document number. Only approved or closed documents are read.

## How do you connect it to Duaer?

1. Ask your database administrator for a read-only user with SELECT on the tables above. NC usually runs on Oracle, U9 on SQL Server.
2. If the database is only inside your network, start the Duaer on-premises data gateway (0.2.0 or later) there with tcp://database-host:port in ALLOWED_TARGETS; the credential's host and port must match it.
3. In Duaer, create a credential: Oracle Database Credentials API for NC, Microsoft SQL for U9.
4. As an owner or admin, open Data sources, select Add source, choose Yonyou NC or Yonyou U9 under Purchase to pay or Order to cash, choose the credential, enter the schema when the tables are not in the user's own (U9 uses dbo unless you enter another), select Check connection and confirm.

## How often does it read, and how much?

Each run reads orders, receipts or issues, invoices and payments by their change time (ts in NC, ModifiedOn in U9), one page each at most; a step is never written twice. Queries only.

## What are the limits?

- The tables and fields read follow the vendor's published data dictionary and are not yet checked against a real system; the first real read may need adjustments.
- U9's table and field names most need checking at the first real read.
- NC on Oracle and U9 on SQL Server only for now.
## Questions

### Is this for Yonyou U8 and BIP too?

No. U8 and BIP have their own sources.
