Create your first digital employee in Duaer

Name the result you will accept

Duaer’s main path is: you name the outcome, a digital employee does the work, and you accept it. This page covers only create and publish steps that exist in the product. The UI may say Agent; this doc always says digital employee.

The instance must have the Agents module on. If there is no create control, check that your role can create agents and that the module is enabled.

Create one

1. Sign in to Duaer and open the project Agents list (the heading is Agents).
2. Select Create agent, or Create your first agent on an empty list. The project menu may also show New agent.
3. The builder opens. Duaer saves the digital employee on the first edit to the name, model, or instructions.

Write instructions and pick a model

1. Open Model & instructions.
2. Enter a Name.
3. Under Instructions, write what this digital employee should do—for example, summarize new tickets in a support channel.
4. Under Model, select a model. If that model needs a credential, use Create credential or Connect to …

Instructions are the result you will accept. Write them before schedules or tools.

Publish and accept in chat

1. Select Publish. Publish needs instructions and a model; the button stays off until both are set.
2. Open New chat from the list or the builder.
3. Send a message and judge whether the reply matches the outcome you wrote. Acceptance is the delivery.
