# Add a node from the Duaer Data category

In Duaer’s node creator, Duaer Data is a category for data Duaer can fetch. Open it, pick a data type (Papers, Proteins, Trials, Compounds, or Structures), and Duaer adds the Duaer Data node to the canvas.

In the node creator, Duaer Data is a category for data Duaer can fetch. It matches the sidebar [data market](/getting-started/data-market.md): the market shows the catalog and price; the creator adds the node by data type into a digital organization.

In the regular node list, this category is first. The icon is a book. Each data type is a choice under the same category, still on one Duaer Data node with a different Operation.

## Add a node from the category

1. Open a digital organization on the canvas and add a node (open the node creator).
2. In the regular node view, select Duaer Data.
3. Pick Papers, Proteins, Trials, Compounds, or Structures. Duaer adds a Duaer Data node with that Operation.
4. Fill the fields for that type and run. How-tos: [Papers](/getting-started/papers.md), [Proteins](/getting-started/proteins.md), [Trials](/getting-started/trials.md), [Compounds](/getting-started/compounds.md), [Structures](/getting-started/structures.md).

You can also search for paper, protein, trial, compound, structure, or duaer; the creator surfaces the Duaer Data category.

Duaer Data is not listed among generic app nodes. Open its own category to pick a data type.
