# Use the Duaer data market

In Duaer, the data market lists data you can fetch, what you get, and the price. The sidebar item sits directly under Data pool. Opening the catalog does not run a search.
## What the data market is

The Duaer data market is a catalog: each row names the data, what you get, and the price. It is not the data pool — the pool stores deliverables from production runs; the market lists external data Duaer can fetch.

The instance must have the data-pool module on. Under Digital employees, Data market sits directly under Data pool. Opening this page does not charge credits and does not run a search.

## Open the catalog

1. In the left sidebar, under Digital employees, select Data market (directly under Data pool). The page title is Data market.
2. Columns are Data, What you get, and Price.
3. The first offering is Papers: published papers with a title, link, and summary; 1 credit per search. For the node, API, and full call skill, refer to [Search papers in Duaer](/getting-started/papers.md).
4. Under Papers is a copyable English call skill. Select Copy skill to paste it into an external agent; the same text is on the Papers page.

## How it differs from the data pool and data tables

- Data market: catalog, price, and how to call. Opening the page does not search.

### Does opening the Duaer data market use credits?

No. Only a successful paper search uses 1 credit. Opening the catalog or copying a skill does not.

### How is the Duaer data market different from the data pool?

The data market is a catalog of what you can fetch. The data pool stores deliverables after production runs.
