# Keep a Duaer node’s input and output visible on a narrow screen

In Duaer, after you open a node, the input panel and the output panel stay on screen when the window is narrow. There is no separate switch.
## Open the node

1. Double-click a node on the canvas, or open its details from the node.
2. Make the browser window narrower.
3. Confirm input on one side and output on the other are still there, rather than a whole column disappearing. Switch the display mode inside a panel when you need a different view of the data.

The panels keep a minimum width, so a narrow window crowds them and does not remove input or output. This is how Duaer 0.01 lays the node out. You do not turn it on in Settings.
