# Send a WeCom message in Duaer

In Duaer, WeCom (企业微信) ships as the builtin duaer-nodes-wecom package. Send app messages with the WeCom Base node and a Corp ID / Agent ID / Secret credential; post to a group with a group-bot Webhook.
## Send an app message

1. In the WeCom admin console, open or create a self-built app and copy Corp ID, AgentId, and Secret.
2. In Duaer Credentials, create a WeCom API credential and paste those three values (set API Base URL only if you need a proxy).
3. Search for WeCom, open 企业微信(WeCom)-基础, connect it after the previous node, and select the credential.
4. Choose resource 应用消息, then a send-text or other message operation.
5. Set the member UserID, department, or tag, write the message, and select Execute step.

To post only to a group without an app message, use a group-bot Webhook credential and the message-push resource.

### Do I need a community package for WeCom in Duaer?

No. duaer-nodes-wecom loads as a builtin. Search for 企业微信 in the node panel.

### How do app messages differ from a group bot?

App messages use Corp ID, AgentId, and Secret and can target members or departments. A group bot only needs a Webhook URL and fits fixed group alerts.
