It suits scripted videos such as captions, text-and-image cards, and product intros. ## Render a video 1. Search for Duaer Video Render and connect it after the previous node. 2. In HTML Source, pick Text to paste the HTML, or Binary File to read it from a binary field of the previous step (Input Binary Field, default data). 3. Make sure the root element of the HTML has data-composition-id and data-duration in seconds, up to 180. 4. In Resolution, pick Match Composition (uses data-width and data-height on the root, else landscape), Landscape 1920×1080, Portrait 1080×1920, or Square 1080×1080. 5. Select Execute step. Duaer Video Render waits until the render finishes, at most 40 minutes. The binary field data holds the MP4, plus renderId, duration in seconds, and credits. ```
``` The HTML can be up to 2 MB. When you set data-width and data-height, the ratio must be 16:9, 9:16, or 1:1 and match the shape picked in Resolution, or Duaer Video Render stops with an error. ## Send assets with Duaer Video Render In Asset Binary Fields, list the binary fields to upload with the HTML, separated by commas: up to 16 files and 10 MB in total. Each file loads in the HTML as assets/.; for example an MP3 in the voice field is assets/voice.mp3. Audio, image, and video files work. A common pattern: make the narration with [Duaer Speech](/build/duaer-speech.md) into the voice field, then use its duration as data-duration. ## What Duaer Video Render costs 1 AI credit per second at 1080p, at least 1, charged to the workflow owner's credits. A failed render is refunded. For credit allowances, refer to [Duaer plans and credits](/manage-cloud/plans.md). A finished shot stays available for 3 hours. In that time you can join it with [Duaer Video Concat](/build/duaer-video-concat.md) or add music with [Duaer Video Music](/build/duaer-video-music.md). ## Questions ### Does a failed Duaer Video Render cost credits? No. In Duaer, credits for a failed render are refunded automatically, and the error says so. ### Why does Duaer Video Render reject my composition size? data-width and data-height on the root element are not 16:9, 9:16, or 1:1.
