# Generate music with Duaer Music

In Duaer, Duaer Music turns a description into an MP3 track. Pick the model from a dropdown; each model shows its own AI credits per track.
## Generate a track

1. Search for Duaer Music and connect it after the previous node.
2. In Description, enter style, mood, and instruments, up to 500 characters. For example: warm, upbeat background music for a short shop video.
3. Leave Instrumental on for a track with no vocals.
4. Open the Model dropdown and pick a model. Each option shows its AI credits per track.
5. Select Execute step. The output has the MP3 in the binary field data, plus title, duration in seconds, and model.

Each generation makes two tracks and both are charged. Set Return to First Track for one item, or All Tracks for one item per track.

To lay the music under a video, pass the binary field to Duaer Video Music.

## Which models Duaer Music offers

The Duaer Music Model dropdown lists every music model your Duaer admin enabled under Admin → Model pool. Prices come from that setup and differ by model; the list shows each one in AI credits per track at your plan rate.

When the admin turns a model off, it leaves the list, and a saved node that still names it fails when run until you pick another. For credit allowances, refer to [Duaer plans and credits](/manage-cloud/plans.md).
## Questions

### Why does Duaer Music charge for two tracks?

Each Duaer Music generation returns two tracks, and both are billed at the selected model credits per track, even when Return is First Track.

### Why is a music model missing from the Duaer Music dropdown?

Your Duaer admin has not enabled it under Admin → Model pool, or it is not on a music source Duaer supports.
