Send a Discord message in Duaer

In Duaer, Discord defaults to Connection Type Bot Token and Resource Channel. To chat, set Resource to Message and Operation to Send. You need a discordBotApi credential.

Send a channel message

  1. Create a discordBotApi credential.
  2. Search for Discord and connect it after the previous node. Leave Connection Type on Bot Token and select that credential.
  3. Set Resource to Message and leave Operation on Send.
  4. Leave Send To on Channel, then choose Channel.
  5. Set Message. Select Execute step.

Resource defaults to Channel (Operation Create). Connection Type Webhook can post to one fixed channel.

Is Discord Connection Type the same as Authentication in Duaer?

The panel label is Connection Type. Choices are Bot Token, OAuth2, and Webhook.
